Demsey started training in Mixed Martial Arts when he was 18 years old, and 8 months into his journey he had his first amateur MMA fight.Â
About a year later Demsey started Muay Thai, before going on to compete in that as well.
In 2014 he made his professional boxing debut after finishing with a 3-1 record in MMA and 4-0 record in Muay Thai.
In 6 years of boxing he has won the Franc Bianco 8 man tournament, Queensland Heavyweight title, Australian Interim title, 2 x Australian title, WBO Pan African title, WBO Asia Pacific title, IBF Intercontinental title while holding a record of 22 (14kos) – 0 losses.
